You begin with a stay in Key Largo, the largest island in the Keys. Key Largo is the perfect starting point for a trip to the Everglades, unforgettable diving, or indulging in the wide range of watersports Florida is known for. 

Next, you'll enjoy a stay in Marathon. Spend your time in Marathon meeting dolphins, feeding stingrays, or learning about sea turtles at a turtle hospital. 

Your trip will come to a close in famous Key West, a fantastic subtropical paradise. Fill your final days in Florida with all the history, culture, seafood and famous nightlife you can handle.

Included flights are scheduled to arrive Miami so that you should arrive in Key Largo in the late afternoon /early evening and depart from Key West late morning/early afternoon. You might choose to select flights which would result in your arriving in Key Largo after dark and depart Key West in the early morning. This would reduce the cost of your trip but would also reduce your time in Key Largo or Key West.

 

DAY 1- NEW YORK TO MIAMI AND ON TO KEY LARGO -Touch down in Miami, Florida, pick up your rental car and hit the road. Tonight you'll check into your first Hotel in Key Largo, Baker's Cay Resort (or similar). The drive takes about 3.5 hours so be sure to make a "pit stop" for some fresh seafood.

DAY 2- KEY LARGO- Home of the haunted DUPONT CASTLE, Key Largo is full of interesting things to do on land and on the water. The most popular attraction in Key Largo is its Coral Reef. Hit John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park for a ride in a glass bottom boat and some snorkeling.

DAY 3- KAY LARGO TO MARATHON- Hit the road to Marathon today. The drive will only take about an hour so you will have plenty of time to hit Sombrero Beach or jump back into the water for swimming, snorkeling, or diving. Overnight in Marathon at Faro Bianco Resort and Yacht Club (or similar)

DAY 4- MARATHON KEY- Spend some time at Crane Point Museum and Nature Center. You can walk 4 miles of nature trails, check out the butterfly gardens and a wild bird center. You can even get a fish pedicure! Later, check out the Turtle Hospital or the Dolphin Research Center for some educational and interactive experience.

DAY 5- MARATHON to KEY WEST- Another 1- hour drive will bring you to your final stop: Key West . From the Gingerbread Mansions, to the tin roofed Conch Houses, this Key is full of spectacular things to see. Check out the Historic Seaport District to dine, walk along the harbor, or plan an outing on the water. Overnight at the LA CONCHA HOTEL & SPA in central Key West.

DAY 6- KEY WEST- CONCH TOUR TRAIN-  See the Best on the train tour that’s been entertaining visitors to the Island City of Key West, Florida since 1958. DAY 7- KEY WEST AIRPORT & HOME - Sadly, it's time to pack your bags, check out of your hotel, and head to the Key West Airport to return your rental car before catching your flight home. 

This package includes an Intermediate Car with pick up at Miami International Airport and drop off at Key West Airport .

You can change to a smaller vehicle at which time you will have a reduction in price. You can also upgrade to a larger or more deluxe vehicle at which time you will be charged accordingly.
